- LOT ACCEPTANCE TESTING (LAT/QCI) DEFINITION
- OBSOLESCENCE PARTS MANAGEMENT
PROCUREMENT PHASE
- MANUFACTURERS SURVEILLANCE
- PRE-CAP INSPECTION
- FINAL SOURCE INSPECTION
- EXPORT LICENCE MANAGEMENT
- DELIVERY SCHEDULE MONITORING
POST-PROCUREMENT & QUALITY VERIFICATIONS
- INCOMING INSPECTIONS
- DOCUMENTATION REVIEW
- NON-CONFORMANCE REPORT (NCR)
- REQUEST FOR WAIVER MANAGEMENT ( RFW / RFD )
- PROBLEMS NOTIFICATION AND ALERTS
WP3 – Parts Evaluation Plan
Non-standard or unqualified items must be selected for Evaluation i.a.w. MIL/DSCC or ESA/ESCC requirements to suit specific applications:
Constructional Analysis
Radiation testing
Manufacturer Audit
Screening summary or Qualification Life test.
WP4 – Parts Qualification Plan
Parts Qualification Test Plans shall be provided i.a.w. Military/Aerospace standards or specific SOW requirements to include as minimum:
PAD (Parts Approval Document)
Technology Heritage
Reliability assessments
Radiation susceptibility
WP5 – Parts Radiation Plan
MICROREL Partner’s utilizes a Radiation Test Database of more than 2000 Radiation Test reports and access to a number of Radiation Test facilities and with large experience in preparation Radiation Plans, performance of Radiation Verification Test, Analysis of results. Typically Radiation Plan will include:
Total Ionizing Dose (TID)
Enhanced Low Dose Rate (ELDRS)
Displacement Damage
SEE (Single Event Effects) : Heavy Ion, Proton, Neutron, Gamma testing
WP6 – Parts Procurement Specification
MICROREL Engineering Team provides parts procurement specification based on ESA/ESCC, DSCC/MIL, SMD/DWG or Customer formats based on International requirements and formats:
ECSS-Q-ST-60C (EEE Components)
NEPAG (NASA Electronic Parts Assurance Group)
NPSL (NASA Parts Selection List)
DLA (Land & Maritime Agency) MIL-SMD DWG
WP7 – Incoming Inspection
Where Customer wishes to have an independent Incoming Inspection in order to clear the parts for onward shipment to Customer facility, MICROREL Partner’s offer full Incoming Inspection actitivites including:
External Visual inspections to MIL-STD requirements
Electrical Measurement (optional)
Data Review vs. Specification / SOW requirements
Radiation Verification test Report
QCI / LAT (Quality Conformance Inspection / Lot Acceptance Test)
WP8 – Supplier Audit & CSI Inspections
Where Customer is considering a new Supplier or experienced Quality or schedule problems MICROREL can be tasked to perform either a General Manufacturer Audit Standards or based on Customer Audit Check List. The task assumes use of a Senior Certified Inspectors (including ITAR products) on Customer behalf’s to World Wide Supplier Countries.
Supplier Audit according to Customer Check List.
Customer Source Inspections (CSI Pre-cap)
Final CSI (Buy-Off)
WP9 – COTS & PEMs alternative solutions
Our Database includes over 2000 Active and Passive components COTS (Components of The Shelfs) & PEMs (Plastic Electronics Packages) with Reliability assessments regarding Design, Workmanship & Counterfeit detections suitable for High-Reliability applications as New-Space Costellations Satellites (LEO applications).
Review will be done on BOM basis with an Assessment Report and selection Justification Documents as support for each alternative EEE Part proposed:
JUSTIFICATION DOCUMENT
PAD (Parts Approval Document)
CONSTRUCTION ANALYSIS / TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENTS
RADIATION EVALUATION & TEST PLANS (TID, SEE, SEU, SEL)
PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTS DEFINITON
WP10 – Counterfeit Parts Detection Service
The supply of counterfeit Electronic Devices has been dramatically increasing. Component counterfeiters are driven by profit potential.
Typically evaluation targets to Assurance that Parts are genuine, basic Screening proposed as follows :
Visual inspection (100%)
Marking permanency (sample)
X-ray inspection (100%) including Die and bonding presence verification
Solderability (sample)
DPA/De-cap and Die inspection (semiconductor components)
Cross-sectioning (passive components)
