Wave SRL Radio specturm surveillance and security for 5G and IoT communications Advanced Technology Applications has started working on a new generation of high-performance radio spectrum surveillance device dedicated to 5G and IoT security.
The project is named AWARE. It will be developed in the frame of a public funded contract by Regione Lazio under the Strategical Aerospace Funding, POR/FESR 2021-2027. The project number is A0613-2023-078459, funded on date 17/11/2023, code CUP F89J23001350007, Code Name: “Radio specturm surveillance and security for 5G and IoT communications (AWARE)”
AWARE module will cover the 400MHz-6GHz band with an instantaneous bandwidth of 3GHz. Thanks to a multi-channel architecture AWARE module will permit spectrum analysis both on wide open and zoomed analysis channels.
AWARE project will use next generation solid state technology to optimize SWaP-C of the overall module. Equipped with an ATR-standard case, AWARE module will be designed and tested to operate on small sized aircrafts, land mobile and naval platforms.
The project will end in Q2 2025 with a fully qualified exemplar.
